Rebeka

Rebeka is one of Dr Max’s senior dental assistants. Her enthusiastic and positive nature make her a valuable team member at Siana Dental.

Completing her Certificate III in 2011, she has thoroughly enjoyed her time in dentistry, with many memorable moments. She prides herself on helping patients on their journey to becoming the best version of themselves and that involves a beautiful smile! Guiding and calming anxious patients through their treatments is a fulfilling aspect for Rebeka.

One case in particular, she holds close to her heart is when a new patient, who had been fearful of the dentist for his entire life, attended Siana Dental.

The first appointment, which was simply an examination to see what treatment was required, this patient could not even sit in the chair due to the phobia. This appointment did not go ahead. A couple of weeks passed and the patient returned, after talking them through the appointment and calming him, we got through the first hurdle!

At his next appointment, IV Sedation worked a treat for this patient. Dental phobia is a real thing. After becoming comfortable and confident with our team this patient could even sit in the chair to have a crown fitted…AWAKE! This was an absolute milestone for this patient and for us to see and be a part of that transformation is amazing.
