Home care is the key to keeping your teeth whiter for longer. We recommend that for 48 hours after your procedure, that you do not eat or drink food that stains your teeth such as tea, coffee, red wine, curries and smoking. At Siana Dental you will receive custom-fitted trays, with take home whitening gels, which you can use at home at your convenience. These take home kits are encouraged following a ZOOM procedure to maintain the colour of your teeth for longer.

Any whitening procedure can cause sensitivity. In chair whitening can cause sensitivity which feels like ‘zappers’ and only lasts for the next 24 hours. Whitening dehydrates your teeth and it takes about 24 hours to rehydrate again.
