Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update

Level 1 Restrictions for Dentistry

Dear Patients

We continue to evolve.
I can now inform you that as of Sunday 10 th May, the Australian Dental Association in
consultation with the Federal government, has deemed it safe for Dental practices to
once again provide our full range of treatments.

Of course, we now have additional and updated policies to adhere to, in order to
maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. We are operating with all of the
recommended Covid-19 safety protocols in place, and are fully compliant with our new
regulations as set out by the Australian Dental Association.

Screening

In order to protect ourselves and our wider community, I ask all of our patients to kindly
respect Siana Dental’s strict screening guidelines.
Please advise us if you, in the previous 14 days, have:

  1. Had fever (≥38°C, night sweats, chills)
  2. Had acute respiratory infection (cough, shortness of breath, sore throat)
  3. Had close contact with a confirmed or probable case of Covid-19
  4. Undertaken international or interstate travel
  5. Been passengers or crew who have travelled on a cruise ship
  6. Been a Healthcare, aged or residential care worker or staff with direct patient contact
  7. Lived in or travelled through a geographically localised area with elevated risk of
    community transmission.
  8. Been hospitalised, where no other clinical focus of infection or alternate
explanation of your illness is evident.

Appointment

If you have an appointment, we request that you kindly wait in our car park until we
invite you in.
It is preferred, if you would consider entering our Practice alone.

As always, we care for you and we are here to help.

If you have any dental concerns or questions, please call Siana Dental during our normal
business hours (as published on our website).

Telephone. 9521 0522

I do hope that we all continue to recover and heal. We are the same, but not the same.
