The Procedure

Extractions are routinely performed painlessly under local anaesthetic. For surgical extractions and for nervous patients, Sleep Dentistry will be offered as an alternative. Through discussion with us, we will always find a method that gives you the best outcome with as much comfort as possible. Welcome to dentistry Siana Dental style!

Bone Preservation (after an extraction)

Following a tooth extraction, bone and soft tissue tend to shrink if no measures are taken. This can leave insufficient bone volume to later fix an implant, or may cause a gap under a dental bridge.

Filling the extraction socket with a bone substitute directly after tooth extraction can preserve bone volume, which increases the options for successful further treatment. If a dental implant is inserted soon after tooth extraction, bone substitutes placed around the implant also contribute to bone volume maintenance.
